At the joint council meeting, it was decided that VBS will be held as it has been scheduled for the first full week in August.  It was felt that with our experienced staff, this would work even though there will be a transition of pastors.  Therefore, there will be a  VBS Organizational meeting on June 6, 2011 at 6:30 PM in the parsonage meeting room.  As August 7th will be the first Sunday for our new pastor to conduct a worship service, it was determined that for this year the joint annual ...

God has graciously answered the request of our congregations for a candidate from the graduating class at Wisconsin Lutheran Seminary.  His name is Paul Micheel.  He is from New Ulm, Minnesota.  His father is a semi-retired professor at Martin Luther College and his mother is employed at the Chamber of Commerce.  Paul is not married.  His immediate plan is to take a trip to Israel.  He will be moving to Daggett in mid-July and has set July 31, 2011 as the date for his ordination into t...

Beginning the first Sunday in June, Sunday worship services will switch times.  Holy Cross worship will move from 10:30 AM to 8:00 AM.  St. Mark worship will move from 8:45 AM to 9:30 AM.  This schedule remains through Labor Day weekend.
